Happy Feature Friday, everyone! 🎉 Today marks the beginning of something truly special here on our page – a celebration of strength, growth, and empowerment through the art of boudoir photography. And who better to kick off this series than the incredible Andrea?
Meeting Andrea was one of those moments that remind me why I do what I do. She walked into my life (and studio) at a time when things were tough for her. Imagine a superhero in disguise, except the disguise is the everyday struggle, and the superpower? Untapped and unseen. That was Andrea – a woman on the verge of discovering how loudly her inner voice could sing and just how blindingly her light could shine.
Over several shoots, Andrea and I embarked on a journey together. But this journey wasn’t just about snapping stunning photos (though, trust me, we did plenty of that). It was about witnessing a metamorphosis. From the caterpillar who walked through my door, unsure and tentative, to the butterfly who emerged – bold, beautiful, and ready to take on the world. 🦋
Andrea, now not just a client but a dear friend, has taught me as much as I hope I’ve taught her. With a heart as golden as the morning sun, she’s shown that self-love isn’t just a buzzword; it’s a lifeline. My first boudoir session was 100% for myself. Going into the studio that day, I still wasn’t sure I was even worth it. My session gave me the boost my confidence needed and the realization that I was deserving of the attention, respect and effort that I continuously poured into others. It’s empowering to realize YOU DESERVE THESE THINGS!
